5 killed and 11 injured, including 6 in serious condition, 2 moderate, and 3 light injuries in a shooting attack at Ramot Junction on Yigal Yadin Street in Jerusalem
Today (Monday) at 10:13, Magen David Adom’s (MDA) 101 dispatch center received calls reporting two terrorists who opened fire at people near a bus stop at Ramot Junction on Yigal Yadin Street in Jerusalem. Large MDA forces, including ambulances, mobile intensive care units (MICUs), and medicycle first responders, were immediately dispatched to the scene.
MDA paramedics pronounced four males deceased at the scene, including a man in his 50s and three men in their 30s. The death of a woman in her 50s, who was evacuated in critical condition, was confirmed at Shaare Zedek Medical Center. Also at the scene were the bodies of the two terrorists who were neutralized.
MDA EMTs and paramedics provided medical care and evacuated nine casualties to Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Hadassah Mount Scopus, and Hadassah Ein Kerem, including: 6 in serious condition and 3 in mild condition.
Additionally, two people in moderate condition were evacuated from the scene.
MDA’s blood services supplied Shaare Zedek, Hadassah Ein Kerem, and Hadassah Mount Scopus with approximately 85 blood units and blood components for life-saving treatment of the shooting victims.

MDA Paramedic Nadav Taieb said: “We arrived at the scene with large forces immediately after the report of casualties from the shooting attack. When we arrived, we saw victims lying on the sides of the road and on the sidewalk near the bus stop, some unconscious. There was extensive destruction, broken glass on the ground, and a chaotic scene. We began providing medical care and evacuated the victims to hospitals. Unfortunately, after medical assessments, we had to declare four victims dead at the scene.”
MDA Paramedic Fadi Dekaidek said: “This was a very difficult and tragic scene. We arrived with a large team and immediately began triage and medical treatment for multiple victims with varying degrees of injury, including serious and critical cases. Some victims had very severe injuries, and unfortunately, after medical evaluation, we had to declare them dead. The victims were lying on the road and sidewalk near the bus stop.”
MDA EMT David Suisa said: “As soon as I heard the report of the shooting, I headed to the scene in an MDA ambulance. Upon arrival, I saw several gunshot victims lying down, some unconscious. I provided medical care to a man in his mid-40s who was seriously injured. He was conscious and had gunshot wounds to his lower body. I worked to stabilize his condition and evacuated him via MDA ambulance to the hospital in stable condition.”
MDA Senior EMT Boaz Alinson said: “I arrived quickly at the scene and saw a very difficult situation. Several shooting victims were lying around with varying degrees of injury. Among them was a woman in her 50s with gunshot wounds to her lower body. She was semi-conscious. We provided life-saving treatment and evacuated her with an MDA paramedic to the hospital, her condition classified as serious.”
MDA Paramedic Shlomi Levi said: “I arrived at a very difficult scene and immediately began providing medical care to a woman in her 70s with gunshot wounds to her upper body. With the assistance of additional MDA teams, she was evacuated in a mobile intensive care unit to the hospital in serious condition. I continued scanning the scene and provided medical care to a woman in her 40s, who was conscious and had gunshot wounds to her upper body. I provided life-saving treatment and evacuated her to the hospital in stable condition.”
