Your Bar/Bat Mitzvah is a huge milestone in your life. It’s a time to celebrate with your family and friends, think about how far you’ve come, and look ahead to the future.
By fundraising for MDA, you can make a real difference in the lives of people in Israel and around the world.
Why Fundraise for MDA UK?
MDA saves lives. It is Israel’s main emergency medical service; ambulances, blood donations, first response vehicles, medicycles and more. By supporting MDA, you’re helping them continue to save lives in Isreal and around the world.
It is really easy to do:
- Set up a Just Giving Page.
- Raise the money. Ask your guests to donate – make sure you add the link to your invitations. You can do fun activities as well, such as a bake sale, a sponsored run, football match, walk the Northern Underground, use your imagination!
There is no minimum or maximum, every penny is important.

- Talk about your fundraising at your Bar/Bat Mitzvah (you may get extra donations on the day!)

Ella embarked on a special challenge to raise money for MDA for her Batmitzvah in December 2024. She walked the entire Northern line from High Barnet to Morden – just incredible! This is just one example of an amazing and fun challenge you can do the raise money.
