As Chanukkah draws to a close this year, we have had a fantastic week in Israel with some really exciting dedications.

The first dedication took place on December 3rd, the second night of Channukah, where a MICU was donated by Barry and Batya Segal, the founders of Vision for Israel.

The dedication took place in front of 50 holocaust survivors, friends and family at the newly opened Millennium Centre in Modi’in. Guests of honour included Eitan Na’eh, Abassador of Israel to Turkey and former Deputy Ambassador of Israel in the UK. After the dedication, everyone joined in lighting the Menorah together.

Chanukkah Dedications

On 5th December, David Domb, Helen Davenport and Salley-Jayne Murray dedicated a state-of-the-art Medicycle to the people of Israel at Tel Hashomer MDA Blood Bank.

The three RunningLifesavers chose MDA UK as their charity of choice for the 2018 Virgin London Marathon. Due to their dedication and ambitious targets, they collectively raised enough funds to purchase a Medicycle.

Friends and family joined the dedication and had a chance to meet Prof Eilat Shinar, Director of MDA Blood Services in Israel.
