National Lifesaving Day will be a 36-hour fundraising initiative for Magen David Adom UK from Sunday 29th – Monday 30th November.
At 7pm on Monday 30th November, we will be live streaming our virtual celebration of the lifesaving work of Magen David Adom, which will include a star-studded line-up of celebrity guests and performers, including Gal Gadot, Rob Rinder, Fauda’s Lior Raz and Idan Raichel (to name a few).
Magen David Adom is Israel’s only National Blood and Medical Emergency Service. Money raised from the event will go towards the National Blood & Logistics Centre which is due to open towards the end of 2021. When complete, the facility will double Israel’s blood processing capacity and protect its blood against missile, chemical and biological attack. This is vital in protecting Israel’s blood supply for the future.
