We urgently need ambulances. We need them NOW and for the future of MDA.
We are urgently raising funds for the following ambulances.
MOBILE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (MICU)
In 1978 Magen David Adom became the first organisation in Israel to develop advanced life support techniques outside hospital walls
Mobile Intensive Care Unit vehicles. Resuscitation is one of the most important activities within the Emergency Medical System, saving the lives of patients with cardiac arrests, serious road traffic accidents and a specialised neonatal intensive care unit for the transfer of premature high-risk newborn babies. When a patient is suffering a major trauma or severe bleeding or requires urgent medication or fluids, the MICU’s and its crew can make those lifesaving judgments instantly.
A generous donation of £120,000 will allow us to purchase a new, state-of-the-art Mobile Intensive Care Unit which carries the instant lifesaving equipment to deal with any situation.
4X4 MOBILE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (MICU)
Our 4×4 ambulances provide the same treatment as our regular ambulances but with the added 4×4 suspension.
These ambulances have been created to manage the uneven terrain and mountainous landscape of some of the northern borders of Israel. They are also well-equipped to manage the many beaches within the country.
A generous donation of £225,000 will allow us to purchase a new, state-of-the-art 4×4 ambulance and help our medics save more lives in some of the remote and difficult terrain areas in Israel.
STANDARD AMBULANCE
Our ambulances are well equipped to transport its patients quickly and safely to hospital whilst the patient can continue to receive expert medical care. Our ambulance crews can make the crucial difference between life and death.
A generous donation of £75,000 will allow us to purchase a new, state-of-the-art ambulance and help our medics to save more lives.
