26th April to 1st May

MDA UK’s Physicians’ Trip 2026

Please join MDA UK on their first Physicians’ Trip, taking place between the 26th April and the 1st May.

Reserve your place using the form below!

We’ll have a packed itinerary, full of training opportunities so that if the worst were to happen in Israel again you’d be able to jump on a plane and join MDA teams saving lives on the back of an ambulance. You’ll also have the opportunity to experience a different side of Israeli society that you may not see on holiday – spending time with MDA teams around the country and hearing their stories.

Trip Inclusions

The price of the trip includes accommodation, food, ground transportation and the full training seminar. All participants must book their own flights.

The full price of the trips is £1,200 for double occupancy. If you wish to have you own room there is a £350 single supplement.

For more information or if you have any questions please contact us via [email protected]

FAQs and Important Information

The trip formalities will begin early on Sunday 26th April and will end after dinner on Thursday, 30th April – so please make sure you book flights that enable you to take part in all trip activities.

Five nights accommodation is included with your registration fees: checking in on Sun 26th April and checking out on Fri 1st May. If you would like to extend your hotel accommodation, this can be done but you will be charged the regular hotel room rate.

For those in Israel early, we will be hosting an (optional) opening dinner on Saturday night, the 25th April.

If you (the traveller) has to cancel the trip:

This trip is non-refundable due to the out-lay MDA UK makes on the cost of the trip. However, if MDA UK is able to recoup costs, we will endeavor to return as much of the price as possible.

The mission will immerse you in the traumatic events of 7th October, and will also be physically strenuous and tiring at times. Should you have any medical conditions that may affect your experience on the mission, please let us know (in confidence) and take any necessary medical advice before travelling. We will have trained medics accompanying us on the trips but your prior notification of any pre-existing conditions would be appreciated.

As of January 2025 all travellers from previously visa-exempt countries (including the UK) must now have an ETA-IL permit for entry into Israel.

The permits will cost 25 Shekels, and you must apply via www.israel-entry.piba.gov.il

You will be asked to provide:

  • your personal details
  • your email address
  • your travel information
  • your passport details
  • upload a photo

The ETA-IL permit for entry is valid for two years.

Most applicants will get a response immediately. In certain cases, it may take up to 72 hours. If you don’t see a response, check your inbox, including your spam/junk folder.

You must have your own valid travel insurance prior to travelling and ideally from time of booking. This needs to be valid for travel to Israel as per current FCDO guidance, which can be found here. We will not be going to any of the red-zones on this mission.

Nearer the time we will arrange a zoom briefing for all participants. We will go over the updated itinerary, packing list and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

We will also add you to our mission WhatsApp group, where you can ask questions and chat with fellow participants.

In the meantime, if you have a query don’t hesitate to email [email protected] or call the office on 020 8038 2876.
