As well as raising funds to assist the day-to-day running of Israel’s only medical emergency response service, Magen David Adom benefits hugely from donations of medical equipment and pharmaceutical drugs which are used in its worldwide humanitarian aid projects.

MDA’s depth of expertise in life-saving is unique, due to the quality, experience and values of its staff, and is the result of many years of dealing with disasters.

We share our world-class expertise around the world. In times of disaster, such as the Tsunami in Indonesia, flooding in New Orleans or earthquakes in Haiti, MDA shares its experience and skills in emergency response wherever it is needed.

Our international Institute for Emergency Medicine provides training courses in advanced life-saving skills, disaster response and volunteer management in over ten languages.

We are also facilitating development projects in more than a dozen countries, such as Georgia, Azerbaijan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Jordan and Indonesia. These projects include orphanages, first aid training centres, doctor’s missions and health clinics.

We are now looking for donations of medical equipment and pharmaceutical drugs with a reasonable use-by-date. With the help of the International Red Cross we will distribute your donation to where it is needed most. On distribution of these gifts in kind, you will receive a comprehensive report about the project and its beneficiaries.
