Triathletes try hard for MDA
On Sunday 11th July, eight triathletes raised just under £10,000 for Magen David Adom at the ‘Tri for Life’ charity triathlon. They joined hundreds of participants representing many different charities at Dorney Lake near Eton, venue for next year’s Olympic rowing event.
One participant, former YMDA Chair Daniel Geey, enthused, “It was a fantastic day which certainly tested my body – specifically my calves! – to the limit. But most importantly, we hope to have raised over £10,000 to continue to fund the essential work that Magen David Adom carries out on a daily basis in Israel.
The other entrants were, Antony Kintish, Talya Schapira, Candice Smith, Alex Springer, Ryan Springer, Geoffrey Springer & James Stannard. To see how they got on, click here.
