Secret Garden a Winter Warmer for YMDA
Over 200 people attended the Young Magen David Adom Secret Garden Ball at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington. The candlelit ball saw the hotel laden with garden benches and ivy-wrapped birdcages. A magician, acapella vocalist and DJ provided the entertainment. Former MDA volunteer Claire Ward gave the appeal and over £33,000 was raised for Israel’s medical emergency response service. The Ball ended with guests taking to the dance floor to enjoy music played by the DJ from a giant gazebo on the stage.
YMDA chairman David Greenberg said: “We were thrilled at the success of Secret Garden Ball. Everyone had a fantastic time whilst learning about the vital work that Magen David Adom volunteers carry out in Israel. The combined funds raised will go directly towards saving more lives in Israel.”
