Lords welcome Young Patrons
Magen David Adom UK launched its Young Patrons 2011 campaign at the House of Lords with an exclusive tour and reception. Hosted by Lord David Gold, 40 guests enjoyed privileged access to Parliament before hearing an update on MDA’s current activities in Israel. Lord Gold, a Magen David Adom supporter, spoke about the organisation’s humanitarian work and the need to save lives anywhere in the world.
The event was the first for Daniel Geey in his role as Chair of Young Patrons. Afterwards he said, “Magen David Adom UK depends on the continued support of young donors. I am delighted that so many have made this ongoing commitment to the organisation and to saving more lives in Israel.”
