A speedy £25k raised at Kol Nidrei
On Kol Nidrei, various UK communities partnered with Magen David Adom to raise money for the organisation in Israel. Each community hosted a variety of activities surrounding the appeal, raising a total of £25k.
Southend & Westcliff Hebrew Congregation raised £16k, which enabled them to purchase a first response motorbike and a defibrillator. £9k has been raised between all the other participating communities, which included Potters Bar, Belmont, Hendon United, Southend Reform and Birmingham Central Synagogue.
