Who is MDA UK?
Magen David Adom UK was established primarily to assist Magen David Adom in Israel, or, where in the opinion of the Board of Trustees it is appropriate, any other equivalent or smaller organisation in Israel or anywhere in the world in the work of providing medical care and treatment for persons irrespective of their nationality, race religion, ethnic origin, age, disability, sexual orientation or political affiliation.
Magen David Adom UK has a dedicated team, under the leadership of Daniel Burger, who are all completely committed to the cause. Between our office staff and many volunteers, from Birmingham to Bournemouth, Cambridge to the Capital, supporters throughout the UK continue to play their part in supporting Israel’s only medical emergency service.

Magen David Adom UK in the Regions
MDA UK Regional Office in Manchester is responsible for all Jewish Communities from Birmingham and Nottingham up to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
In December 2004, Magen David Adom UK established a Regional Office in Manchester with Richard Simon as its first UK Regional Director. Richard’s brief is to raise the profile of MDA in the regions with an end-result of raising more funds.
The Regional Office takes in the following towns :-
Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Blackburn, Blackpool & St Annes, Bolton, Bradford, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Harrogate, Hull, Liverpool, Llandudno, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Newcastle-on-Tyne, Nottingham, Preston and Sheffield.
The Regional Office can assist donors in all aspects of giving whether they are Legacy, Celebration or just general donations. It can also issue MDA Certificates for celebrations.
